The 乐播传媒 logo must appear on the front of all publications and websites representing any entity within 乐播传媒's organizational structure.
The 乐播传媒 logo may not be incorporated into other logos or aligned with artwork to create a new logo. Borders, boxes, or shapes may not be placed around or behind the 乐播传媒 logo, including a white box.
There must be a protected area surrounding the logo. The height of the secondary logo should be the minimum space on all sides.
The 乐播传媒 logo may only appear in the official LSU colors: purple, gold, black, and white. The logo must appear using 100 percent full saturation of the official colors. Tinting is not allowed.
Drop shadows, gradients, and other effects should never be applied to the 乐播传媒 logo.
The 乐播传媒 logo should not appear smaller than 1 inch in width when possible. The primary 乐播传媒 logo with the full name should never appear smaller than 1.15 inches wide whenever possible.
The dotted line in the image below illustrates the protected area around the primary logo. The width of each side of the protected area (indicated by "y") is equal to the height of the letter "S" in the 乐播传媒 logo.

This protected space ensures that no other graphics interfere with the clarity and integrity of the 乐播传媒 letters. At no time is placing anything in front of, adding a stroke or outline to, or adding gradients, patterns, or effects permissible for any logo in this guide.
The primary 乐播传媒 logo features the letters "乐播传媒" in large typeface, with the word "Shreveport" underneath in a smaller typeface.
The primary 乐播传媒 logo is the preferred logo and should be used when possible.

The secondary 乐播传媒 logo features the letters “乐播传媒” in large typeface.
The secondary logo should only be used when spacing is limited and/or the LSU Shreveport brand is already present in some way. This could be on items like internal documents, small merch items, or as a repeated element on multi-page documents or presentations.

The secondary S icon features the letter “S” in large typeface.
The secondary S icon should only be used when space is extremely limited (as a website favicon, for example) and with the permission of Marketing and Communications.

A “unit” refers to any college, department, program, or center at 乐播传媒.
Colleges and departments should align their areas to the university visually. Using internal logos correctly allows for brand consistency.
Independent or externally-made logos for university鈥恠upported units, departments, and colleges are not approved for use, including in publication or merchandise. The internal unit, college, or department name, should be aligned with the 乐播传媒 name whenever possible.
Marketing and Communications can offer guidance for use of internal logos and must approve uses of internal logos for publications, advertisements, and merchandise.
The following are guidelines for existing and future internal logos.

The primary 乐播传媒 athletics logo is the preferred logo and should be used when possible.
The secondary logo and icons should only be used when the format is limited, and/or the LSU Shreveport brand is already present in some way. It is also acceptable on merchandise or team uniforms.
Icons should not be used without the background. They should also only be used in purple and white, purple and white with a gold S, purple and gold, or black and white when color is limited.
The anchor icon can be used outside of athletics, but only as a supporting graphic element and not as a replacement for primary 乐播传媒 marks.
Athletics logos and their formatting should not be used for any entity outside of athletics.
Athletic team logos are also acceptable in the primary athletic format, with the anchor to the left.

Athletic logos should not have outlines, drop shadows, or any other effects applied.
Athletics logos and marks should follow the same color formatting rules of the 乐播传媒 primary logos.
Athletics logos should not be used to create patterns, unless approved by the Office of Marketing and Communications.
Additional marks created for sports uniforms or merchandise should not be used outside of those instances.

Student organizations may choose to create their own logo. However, each logo must incorporate an approved alias of the LSU Shreveport name, but are not required to utilize the 乐播传媒 logo. If an organization chooses to use the university logo, they should follow brand standards. The Faculty Advisor may contact Marketing and Communications to request a custom logo.

The seal should be used only for official or ceremonial documents, or on prestigious gift items. Any other usage must be approved by the Office of Marketing and Communications. When reproduced in color, the seal should always appear in 乐播传媒 Purple and 乐播传媒 Gold if printed in more than one color. Black is acceptable if color printing is unavailable. Any manipulation or alteration to the seal is strictly prohibited.

University events and conferences do not always have to follow internal logo guidelines and layouts. It is preferred for university events, particularly evergreen and reoccurring events, to make use of the 乐播传媒 brand colors and fonts in order to align that event with 乐播传媒. If an event logo chooses to incorporate an existing 乐播传媒 logo, they must follow 乐播传媒 brand guidelines in regard to usage of that logo.
If you require assistance in creating a brand-compliant event logo, please reach out to Marketing and Communications.

As of 2025, the below logos are no longer approved for usage and should not be used on any 乐播传媒 materials moving forward. The logos below are examples of retired logos and do not represent an exhaustive list of all prohibited or outdated logos. If you would like to use a retired logo, you must have permission from Marketing and Communications prior to use.
