In January 2026, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is working with to launch a program that will connect students and employers in a new way: HELM, or Hands-on Experience & Learning with Micro-Internships.
HELM provides students with short-term, paid, professional assignments that are like those given to new hires or interns. These projects will allow students to demonstrate skills, explore career paths, and build networks as they seek the right full-time role.

Students can apply for a Micro-Internship project through the . Applications will open the first week of March, with projects to begin in May 2026.
on Thursday, February 19 at 1 p.m. CST. This info session will allow students to hear an overview of what Micro-Internships are and their value, view examples of projects, and see a brief demonstration of the platform.
Can’t make it to the info session? Register anyway and receive a recording and the slides after the student info session has concluded.
Employers interested in participating in the HELM program must develop projects for ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students to complete within 15 or 30 hours, receiving coaching from Parker Dewey along the way. Projects must be posted by the first week of March so that students can begin their projects starting in May 2026.
