You have the potential. We have the community, resources, and affordable education you need to achieve your purpose.
The Office of Marketing and Communications (MarComm) is responsible for the LSU Shreveport campus communications functions, including media relations, web, social media and marketing.
We work with multiple stakeholders across the campus community to tell the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ story, and ensure that every facet of the university’s communication is clear, accurate, consistent, and represents the values of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ brand and mission.
The MarComm staff can assist you with finding information for a story, locating a faculty member who can provide an expert opinion, arranging interviews with university administrators and finding possible story ideas and photo opportunities. The staff also sends out media advisories, press releases and news and feature articles to the media. During a campus emergency or crisis, the Marketing and Communications team will also be able to provide the media with updated information, official statements and the name and contact information of any university spokespersons.
If you are an ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ faculty/staff member in need of assistance from MarComm, please utilize our to submit your request.
