  • Pays the school all tuition and fees
  • Pays stipend to student based on enrollment status and how many days student was in school for the month
  • Pays for books and required supplies

Chapter 33 (Post-9/11 GI Bill, PGIB)

  • Pays the school tuition and fees based on eligibility percentage
  • Pays Monthly Housing Allowance to student if student enrolled at greater-than-half-time status
  • Stipend based on enrollment status, how many days student was in school for the month, if on-campus or online, and eligibility percentage
  • Pays book stipend to student based on eligibility percentage

Chapter 35 (Survivors’ and Dependents’ Education Assistance, DEA)

  • Pays stipend to student based on enrollment status and how many days student was in school for the month

Chapter 1606 (Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve, MGIB-SR)

  • Pays stipend to student based on enrollment status and how many days student was in school for the month

Louisiana Title 29 Exemption

  • Exempts tuition and school-imposed fees
  • Can not pay for Academic Excellence, Student Activity, Athletics, Operational, Student Success Center, Technology, or University fees

Louisiana National Guard Tuition Exemption (STEP)

  • Exempts tuition-only, not fees

Louisiana National Guard Patriot Scholarship

  • Pays school for fees up to 15 hours/semester
  • Can not pay for HPE, Lab, CSC fees per LOFSA
  • Undergraduate degrees only

Louisiana HB167/Act 224

  • Exempts tuition and fees that Post-9/11 GI Bill can't cover if eligibility is less than 100%
  • Must be Louisiana resident with VA service-connected disability
