I'm a recovering sports journalist and college athletics sports information director who has a found a home for my journalism/writing skills at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. I started in this position in 2023 and am working to amplify the great things going on at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ through our website, our social media, and local/regional/national media.
LSU BR was a great training ground with all of its nationally ranked sports, sending me on 10-year newspaper career as a sportswriter and then seven more years in college athletics at Northwestern State.
I was fortunate to cover LSU's 2007 football national title along with various other national title games, bowl games and other postseason events, and professional sporting events.
I am married to the beautiful Patricia Vines and have two kids, Oliver and Adelina.
